Organ transplantation is often the only available treatment option for patients suffering from end-stage kidney, liver or heart disease. In collaboration with the QUOD initiative, Evotec is committed to improving the quality of organ donation and transplantation and advancing the mechanistic understanding of these common diseases. Through multimodal characterization of donor biopsy transcriptomes and associated clinical data, our scientists aim to identify early disease signatures and targetable mechanisms of injury and repair that will open new avenues for therapeutic intervention and patient stratification.
